And I have a 6 year old daughter she is staying with her grandma but she wants to come home I lost my job they cut my lights off and I don't have the cash to turn it back on in getting depress upset and don't know what todo I hade a car but it got inpound because it didn't have a tag and I don't have licens please I just want my lights turn on
I am a full time student. My husband suffered a nervous break down and was admitted to the hospital. His boss will not let me get his check. I have a light bill that is past due and no way to pay it. I don't know when my husband will get back to work. I have set up a paypal account or if you message me I will give you my light bill account number and you can pay directly that way.

My landlord left me a note again today saying it can't keep going like this....I am praying for the both of us. Something has got to give soon. So many of us are at the very end of our resources and don't know what else to do. At this point I need a miracle. Fortunately, I still believe in them!

Thanks for the reply. It does feel good to know that someone else is listening. I live in GA. Hopefully they will work with me since the apt complex isn't full and give me time to find another place. I have been using this company called promove, they do all the searching for you. Now the only problem is that my account is overdrawn like $230 and my check is scheduled to go in tomorrow and it isn't even that amount. It may be the middle of the month before I can move and so many places have great supposed move in specials but they don't include the deposit, admin fee, or app fee. I figure that with a move in special, it should be only that amount to move in. They just say oh you have to pay more than the amount of one month's rent and call it a special.

Hi, I hear you. I am right there with you! I heard there is a law that keeps landlords from evicting you if you have school age kids, enrolled in school, during the school year. I am searching to find out if this is true. I really hope so, as I have no place to go either. If you lived in Durant, OK, I know a place you could stay for free. If my electricity was in my name, I could get assistance, but that is not the case for me. Have you tried that? I know how hard it is to be a student and work and raise kids. I have been there. Don't give up. I'm praying for you and nothing you go through goes un-noticed. You are loved! I applaud you for trying so hard. If I had the funds, I would help you out, girlfriend!
I am a mother of 4. I need help with getting things back on track. I am currently getting evicted as of the 30th of this month. My light bill is behind and the bill is over $500 due to the increase in electric costs these past few months. I work part time and go to school online. If it was just me, I wouldn't mind so much. However, since my kids are here with me, this is such a nerve wrecking experience. I am looking for any help possible. I will pay anyone back that can help and assist them in any way possible. My main concerns right now are finding a place to stay at least for the month of September and help with catching up my light bill.
hey everyone, if you know my story then i have good news to report and some bad news. the good news is that my FI was approved ( which is the check that you get with your food stamps ). And the disability rep that we have been working with told us that we will get our approval by the 22nd of July. She had everything that she needed and that it would take a week to get the approval to me. All that is good news but the bad news is that on July 14th our light will be cut off. I was looking for the FI check to pay for our light bill but I will not have the card until 7 to 10 days from now. I will $445.21 to pay the light company by tomorrow by the end of business. You don't have to pay it to me you can pay it to the light company. I am two months behind on my rent and someone was going to help us but they never did. I do have a school check that will be here around the first week of Aug so it could be a loan. I have 6 kids and I take care of my husband all day. I just need help please. Please anyone help me with this. If my lights get cut off then all the food that i just got for the kids will go bad and then i can't feed the kids. PLEASE HELP US.

I don’t know what to do. I lost my job back in April, and I’ve put in countless applications for work. But, no one has called me. I have rent, lights, and a phone bill to pay and no money coming. If it were only me that would be bad enough, but I have a roommate who’s on permanent disability. He only gets $644.00 a month. Our rent is $958.00, plus the phone and the lights. I need $600.00 to make up the difference.

Good luck, I have a large bill also we went in for help before the turn off and the state took so long that they shut us off anyway so we are in the dark STILL it has been days 6 to be correct and it l;ooks like longer now because NOONE will return a call. Now DTE says we owe the hook up fee and disconnect fee. As if I didnt owe enough to start with. Dont try THAW they are not taking apps any more.
Have you gone to a church in the area? At least here they can only give you one month in a twelve month period. But at least that will get you thru this time and hopes that is doesn't happen again. Also there are community centers that normaly can help you just a little bit.
I just get a better result than what I have. No don't get me wrong I have had a friends that lost everything within a week and at that time they were able to help her.

let me exsplain, i am 31 disabled woman, i live on 600 a month and that barely gets my bills paid and food to eat, I live in the country i need a lagoon put in i had a man quote $3000.00 but theres no way i can get that kind of money, once i get help (maybe) then i can get my water and lights turned on, randolph and boone county have a rule you must have sewer before they will set your pole and turn your lights on, i live in an electric mobile home so when i get my sewer in they will turn on my lights and i will have heat have i lost you i hope not i hope your understand what im trying to explain

I have been homeless twice. I have 3 girls and hope not to be homeless again. I have a job,and just got a new place for my girls and I to live. But I just barely make enough to pay my rent never mind my bills. My kids have a deadbeat dad and dosen't do any thing for us, if he did we would be all right. But any not sure how this works but any help would be great. I just don't want to have to look my girls in the face and tell them we need to move again. Been every where looking for help and just get told sorry we can't help you. Could some one just show me how to get help. I drive a 200.00 car it gets me to work. Need a phone because I have a baby and can't get one because I don't have money for one . I just paid my rent and have no money for the lights or oil bill. Every dime I get goes for my rent and there is nothing left over. My kids ask for things like all kids thay don't get much but let me tell you a day at the park is a great day for them and when we go home thay say we love you mom for taking us there. Well my name is Rochelle Jackson, I'm 24years old and I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm not trying to be greedy with the world but I am asking for help to pay my lights, rent, driver license and my fine off. I never really ask for anything that's why when I asked my family they look at me and say "Oh yeah right, you just jiving us".. I am begging for this help. I live with my younger brother and his companion, and his companion doesn't help out with nothing. I feel like my life is crashing down. I PRAY every night for some type of miracle. I believe that this is my last resort. My totals should be no more than 7,000. To be honest there are some nights I don't eat. The job I have can make ends meet but with that extra person in the house it just makes it a little tighter to accomplish things. We never had this problem before. How come when your working and just barely scraping by they take away what little relief with fuel at all time highs. How is a Mother suppose to do it. I have a 202 light bill and no gas to go to work no food after this week.
